Allen Jacoby was born in Orange County, California, in February of 1992. He has been writing horror since the age of 6, when his first written work was so disturbing that it caused his first grade teacher to suffer a minor breakdown and transfer the boy to another class. He has been a fan of the macabre ever since. Jacoby can most commonly be seen around Southern California's hotspots, wearing his trademark pinstriped suit, along with the ever-popular Guy Fawkes' Mask. After a short hiatus of nearly 20 years, Acquanetta recently resumed her Joy-Thing of writing 'What If?' stories.  Her recent 'plays' (as opposed to 'works,') have been accepted by and/or published in:  Daily Flash-2012, Daily Love, Dinosaur Bees, Every Day Fiction, Flashes in the Dark, Flash Shot, The Fringe Magazine and Weirdyear.

ANDREW HOGAN:

Andrew Hogan was a faculty member at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, the University of Michigan and Michigan State University. He published more than five-dozen professional articles on health services research and health policy. He has published ninety works of short fiction.


BRENDA ANDERSON:


Author Bio: Brenda Anderson’s fiction has appeared in various places from Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine to Flash Fiction Online. She lives in Adelaide, South Australia, and tweets irregularly @CinnamonShops.

Chris Wight lives with his wife and two sons in the historic beach community of Kamakura, Japan. He is a leisure enthusiast.

DANICA GREEN:

Danica lives in a tent in someone's attic with lots of insomnia, little food and a medium amount of cats. She encourages you to read the things she writes and mail her a sandwich if you like them.



DANIEL HAMPTON:

Daniel Hampton is a writer/rambler born and raised in Bakersfield. He’ll write absurdist stories about sandwiches with the same zeal he writes heartfelt poetry, much to the befuddlement of others. D. M. Anderson is a Stay-at-home-dad, and writer of strange fiction. He hides inside his hermitage, leaving occasionally to scavenge for food and toiletries. When he isn't setting a bad example for his kids, he is mercilessly beating his head against the keyboard, hoping something interesting spills out onto the screen.

David is a writer, screenwriter, actor, and attorney. He writes the column UGLY WORLD for the Severed Cinema website, and he writes for Girls and Corpses magazine and horrornews.net. He co-wrote and acted in Countess Bathoria's Graveyard Picture Show and his writing has appeared in Rue Morgue, Bizarro Central, Chimeraworld 2 and 3, Verbicide, NewEnglandFilm.com, and many more publications. Dustin lives in a small apartment with his daughter, girlfriend, and a named Michael Jackson. He watches too much television and edits the e-zine, “the Mustache Factor”. When he is not doing these things, he is writing short stories that make people feel a little confused and maybe even a little sick. Edward is a 2011 nominee for the Pushcart Prize in Literature, also nominated for the 2009 Rhysling Award and the 2005 British Science Fiction Association Award. John was born in northeast Missouri. Ken Goldman, an affiliate member of the Horror Writers Association, has homes on the Main Line in Pennsylvania and at the Jersey shore depending upon his mood and the track of the sun. His stories appear in over 590 independent press publications in the U.S., Canada, the UK, and Australia with over twenty due for publication in 2011-2012. Since 1993 his tales have received seven honorable mentions in The Year’s Best Fantasy & Horror. MARLEEN S. BARR:


Marleen S. Barr is known for her pioneering work in feminist science fiction and teaches English at the City University of New York. She has won the Science Fiction Research Association Pilgrim Award for lifetime achievement in science fiction criticism. Barr is the author of Alien to Femininity: Speculative Fiction and Feminist Theory, Lost in Space: Probing Feminist Science Fiction and Beyond, Feminist Fabulation: Space/Postmodern Fiction, and Genre Fission: A New Discourse Practice for Cultural Studies. Barr has edited many anthologies and co-edited the science fiction issue of PMLA. She is the author of the novels Oy Pioneer! and Oy Feminist Planets: A Fake Memoir.

MATTHEW DEXTER:

Like nomadic Pericú natives before him, Matthew Dexter survives on a hunter-gatherer subsistence diet of shrimp tacos, smoked marlin, cold beer, and warm sunshine. He lives in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

MATTHEW LYONS:

Work by Mitchell Grabois appears in magazines worldwide. Nominated for numerous prizes, he was awarded the 2017 Booranga Centre (Australia) Fiction Prize. A former journalist, Nigel Anthony Sellars holds a doctorate in history from the University of Oklahoma. Wol-vriey is Nigerian and quite tall. He currently resides in a state of uneasy stalemate with his threatening-to-thin-beyond-redemption hair, and believes there actually are things that go bump in the night. Wol-vriey recycles the ridiculous into reasonable reality for the reader. His WEIRRRD philosophy? Zoltán Komor was born in June 14, 1986. He lives in Nyíregyháza, Hungary. He writes surreal, bizarro short stories that he later translates into English.
